Macworld Keynote
Apple Inc. change the way we look at a smart phone and certainly the way we interact with it too. The Macworld keynote presented by Steve Jobs CEO of Apple Inc. started with the presentation of Apple TV, a new product that was preview, last year on another keynote presentation conducted by Steve Jobs too, which is your intermediary product between your Mac and your TV. It has numerous features like the ability to store your movies from iTunes on you Mac and even show streaming from up to five different Macs. Of course, this works with PC too but being the Apple fan that I am my examples are too obvious.
While Apple TV is a great product and one that we all anticipated to be release on this year keynote the Steve Jobs immediately started talking about the next and last product for the day, the iPhone. While some were thinking that a product like this was unlikely to show on a Macworld keynote presentation, the product was unveiled and Apple fans went crazy for it. It is really something to talk about but I am summarizing some features.![]()
The new Apple iPhone has amazing capabilities, is a phone, an iPod, and an internet device. It lets you listen to your music, receive a call while it pauses your music and resumes it after your done, let you look for places and search the internet like no other device on its class. The most shocking feature for me was that is running OS X on that little device, I think that opens the product for great improvements in the future, not that it needs any.
There was one last thing that was not announce in the keynote presentation but is available for sale at Apple.com and that is a new Air Port Extreme Base Station. This product works with Mac and PC platforms and introduces compatibility with the N standard for wireless communication. For prices and detail specs, I encourage people to go to Apple.com and search for the devices and even watch the keynote, I saw it and found it very interesting.
