iPod Touch Weirdness Continues
Apple Inc. needs to put an update to the iPod touch as soon as possible, in the last couple of days I’ve notice several other bugs that are really annoying. I want to start by mentioning that I read some post in the Apple forums where people are extremely dissatisfied with the screen in the iPod touch, I haven’t had any problem after the one I mentioned on the previous post I did about the iPod touch.
I did have issues where my iPod touch would display white squares instead of black ones on any video I played on it. My fix was to shut down the device by holding the sleep/wake button for three seconds and then turning it back on. I have no other issues with color reproduction or the overall performance of the screen.
Where I am having issues is with the date and time, I found out today that it was 1969. My iPod touch reset to factory settings changing time zone, dates, and time; unfortunately, I don’t know when this happened, neither can I replicate the issue.
Coverflow feature does not work properly, I have set playlist for my favorite music, music videos, etc. when I turn my iPod to see the items in coverflow mode it show my entire library. Shouldn’t it show whatever is on that playlist only, we need a fix for this as soon as possible.
Shuffle works sometimes, I have a playlist with all my Podcast, this allows me to play them all at once. Sometimes when I hit on the item I want to start listening, it will stay put not playing anything at all, the fix is to get out and get in the playlist again, and then it will work normally.
Do you know when will apple release a software update for the iPod touch? I have no idea, what I do know is that they need to hurry up with these minor bugs before people start walking away from the idea of getting one.
