Why You Should Buy A Mac Before Next Friday

If you are one of the thousands waiting on Leopard to buy your next Mac, you should hurry and get yours before Leopard actually hits every Mac on every Apple store. The reason is simple, why getting the latest and greatest when you can have them both in case of emergency. Apple is one of the operating system vendors that have a great record releasing good operating systems, but after the “Vista Flaw” from Microsoft, I’m trusting nobody, trust me. ;-)
If you purchase a Mac after October 1, 2007 you can get Leopard for $9.95 from Apple.com, with this on mind you can get your Mac today with a solid stable operating system. As soon as your Leopard CD arrives, you can upgrade and hope for the best, if anything at all would go wrong with your installation you can always roll back to Tiger and wait for updates. Nobody is saying that Leopard is bad, or that it will have flaws, in fact, I think that the extra time Apple took to finish it was the best decision for consumers.

Learn from the mistakes other made, if you think that Leopard will be free of bugs, think again, while the OS itself can be solid rock you may encounter third party software that will not work, and if your income depend on the software you may want to have Tiger available. Two cats are better than one, companies like Adobe has stated that their software is not certify to work with Leopard, some Leopard beta testers have stated that it seems to be working, but what if that feature you use the most is not.

I wouldn’t risk it, I would buy a Mac before next Friday, if that was on your plans, and risk nothing. What would you do? Spread the word, if you know anyone waiting on Friday, October 26, 2007, talk to them about this option of having two cats instead of one and you may save your friends from future headaches. Have I missed something, take a moment and leave your comments about this topic on this article, our community will appreciate that.

    Ben,

I respect your comments, I didn’t mean to sound so much as a fan boy. I do use PC and well as Mac too, and my experience with Vista was bad and it still bad. I troubleshoot computers for many people and I’m tire of printers not working, web cams not working, etc. I do have problems with my Mac from time to time but never like the ones I have with Vista. If Leopard sucks I will report back same way I believe Vista suck. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

    Sincerely yours,

    Apple Fanboy

Your ‘vista flaw’ comment is completely off the mark. I am so sick of people screaming their anti-vista slurs from every mountain top. I use both Macs and PC machines, and I have been using vista since it launched last January, and I have yet to have ANY problems. In fact, unlike my Mac Pro which falls into a coma whenever it sleeps my vista run PC works great
