Upgraded iPhone to 1.1.2
I just upgraded my iPhone to software version 1.1.2, the process was easy but not as easy
as if you wait for it to pop up from iTunes. I went to MacRumors website and grab the version they have on their site, it downloaded in about 2 minutes. After that I had to hit alt/option + click on the restore button on iTunes, a finder windows pop up asking for the location of the file.
This process erases your iPhone and set it back to factory setting but with software update 1.1.2, then I had to upload all my content b
ack into my iPhone. The upgrade went without any problems but I must let everyone know that I never hacked my iPhone before. The only difference I see in iTunes is a battery indicator in the devices section of iTunes right by my iPhone icon.
On the iPhone I haven’t notice any other difference, not new items that I would use. I haven’t use it that much to claim any speed increase in the navigation of the device. Is
behaving just like it was before the upgrade, all my contact information, emails, and content are exactly the way they were before without any addition of features or changes to it.![]()
One thing I was hoping to see is the rumored voice recorder that will be added to the iPhone, but not even, I’m still depending on Jott. I went through all this trouble just to be one of the first to report changes, so if you feel like you are missing something until the update is pushed to everyone, you are not missing anything. Hope this help any curious Mac Geek out there, thanks for reading.
