When I grow up, I want to be like you.
It comes a time in life when you feel important, whether is because you have accomplish a goal you had in the works or because someone else makes you feel important. Also, there is success, and how we measure it is very unique to each individual, Lorelle asked the community “What it would look like if you were big” and because I love and respect Lorelle’s work as a blogger-ette, her is my answer.
I definitely would like to be big, read Lorelle’s blog challenge using this link to know what I’m talking about. Being big and famous is something that most people play with the idea of being, but the price to pay makes me ask myself if it’s worth it. You know what I’m talking about, actors and actresses can’t even go shopping without being harassed by a paparazzi.
In the other hand, it must feel awesome to be important, I consider some bloggers to be very important persons, like Lorelle herself, Leo Laporte, and even Victor from Typical Mac User. When you have people talking about you, answering blog challenges, listening to your show, the community magic gets unleash.
I would like someday to be big like them, I would like to have people come to me as thank me for complimenting their lives with wisdom. I also want to stop sounding so philosophical about it, the truth is that the idea of success is having at least someone writing to me a post, and it happens rather frequently.
Whenever someone agrees or disagree with me on any subject I get excited because of the interaction. I dream to be big one day and challenge people like you to contribute anything back to the community.
Here I come, because I want to improve the content of my website, I want to ask you, what would you like to read more about. If you can tell me what kind of content that I produce you enjoy the most, I will be posting about the most common terms I use on my blog with the idea of giving people a reference of common technology subjects and I will listen to what you want.
